pravartante 'sucivratãh

Cherishing insatiable desires, full of hypocrisy, arrogance,and pride,having accepted false notions through delusion, they act with tainted resolve. (16:10)

Acalentando desejos insaciáveis, cheios de hipocrisia, arrogância e orgulho, tendo aceitado falsos conceitos por meio da ilusão, eles agem com determinação contaminada.(16:10)

Ambition and desires are unlimited and insatiable, especially  when it comes to material things.

Ambição e desejos são ilimitados e insaciáveis, especialmente quando se trata de coisas materiais.

Satisfying  desire is like pouring fuel onto a fire.

 Satisfazer o  desejo  é como derramar combustível em um incêndio.

People with demoniac habits devote their strength, energy and their whole lives to fulfilling evil desires that are barriers on the path of soul culture and spiritual progress.

Pessoas com hábitos demoníacos dedicam a sua força, energia e toda a sua vida para satisfazer maus desejos que são barreiras no caminho da cultura da  alma e progresso espiritual.

Their lives are undisciplined and impure.

Suas vidas são indisciplinadas e impuras.

Their rajasic and tamasic foods, activities, and temperaments lead them in a downward spiral towards destruction, decay, disease, and death.

Suas rajasicas e tamasicas alimentações, atividades e temperamentos vai levá-los em uma espiral descendente para a destruição, degradação, doença e morte.

Spiritual practices is the journey into the inner universe.

Práticas espirituais são a viagem para o universo interior.

The indwelling Self, reside in this body: purusha.

O Ser interior, reside neste corpo: purusha.

purusha means "sleeping in the body palace"

purusha significa "dormir no palácio corpo"

The senses, the mind, and every limb are active and doing their respective work only because of the soul's presence.

Os sentidos, a mente, e todos as partes do corpo são ativos e fazem seus respectivos trabalhos somente por causa da presença da alma.

The body of senses and the mind are prakriti, or nature.

O corpo dos sentidos e da mente são prakriti, ou a natureza.

Nature (prakriti) is threefold: tamasic (inertia, idleness, loss of spirit, or sleepiness), rajasic ( activity, restlessness, ego, and temptation), and sattvic ( purity, calmness, love, and simplicity)

Natureza (prakriti) é tripla: tamasic (inércia, preguiça, perda do espírito, ou sonolência), rajas (atividade, inquietação, ego, e a tentação) e sattvic (pureza, calma, amor e simplicidade)

The nature of the individual is shaped by inherent tendencies and experiences of the past.

A natureza do indivíduo é moldada por tendências inerentes e experiências do passado .

Follow the guidelines given by your guru, the divine teacher, the scriptures, and your pure conscioussness.

Siga as orientações dadas pelo seu guru, o professor divino, as escrituras e a sua consciência pura.

Through meditation and yogic lifestyle, realize the oneness of all things in every breath and in every moment. Then you will attain liberation.

The eternal soul in the body, in the worldly life, is a fragment of Myself. That alone draws to itself the five senses and the sixth sense, the mind, that exist in material nature (prakriti) (15:07)

A alma eterna no corpo, na vida mundana, é um fragmento de Mim mesmo. Isso  por si só atrai os cinco sentidos e o sexto sentido, a mente, que existe na natureza material (prakriti) ( 15:07)

God is infinite and formless.His invisible counterpart resides in every living body.

Deus é infinito e sem forma.Sua contraparte invisível reside em cada corpo vivo.

All human beings are God in human form.
Todos os seres humanos são Deus na forma humana

O Lord splendid is Your cosmic play.To realize You is beyond the comprehension of the human mind.You are the supreme being.
Oh Senhor  esplêndido é o seu jogo cósmico.Realizar Você está além da compreensão da mente .Você é o Ser Supremo.

Maya ( delusion) consist of the three qualities of nature (gunamayi)sattva, rajas and tamas.This entire creation is compose with these three qualities of nature.
Maya (ilusão) consistem nas três qualidades da natureza (gunamayi) sattva, rajas e tamas. Toda esta  criação é composta destas três qualidades da natureza.

This universe is davi (divine) because it is a creation of God.
Este universo é davi (divino), porque é uma criação de Deus.

It is extremely difficult for the seeker to overcome the play of maya.
É extremamente difícil para o  seguidor vencer o jogo de maya.

       Unswerving  attention on Him and taking refuge in Him will enable one to cross the ocean of maya (delusion)
Uma inabalável atenção Nele e se refugiar Nele permitirá a pessoa a cruzar o oceano de Maya (ilusão)

Breath is life. That breath in yogic language is called hamsa, the feet of Lord
A respiração é vida. Essa respiração em linguagem yogi é chamada hamsa, os pés de Deus..

Chapter 14 Verse 5 Gunatraya Vibhaga Yoga : The Yoga of discrimination of the Triple Qualities of Nature; O Yoga da Discriminação das triplas Qualidades da Natureza.

sattvam rajas tama iti

gunãh prakrtisambhavãh 

nibadhanti mahãbãho

dehe dehinam avyayam

The three qualities sattva( good and spiritual), rajas ( desires, activities, and restlessness), and  tamas ( idleness and slot ) born of nature (prakriti) bind the body fast. O Mahabahu ( mighty-armed Arjuna), the imperishable indweller of body. ( 14:05)

As três qualidades sattva (bondade  e espiritualidade), rajas (desejos, atividades e agitação) e tamas (ociosidade e preguiça ) nascem  da natureza (prakriti) se vinculam ao corpo rapidamente. Oh Mahabahu (poderosamente armado Arjuna), o ser  interior  imperecível no corpo. (14:05)

Arjuna, due to his noble and divine quality, has the company of Lord Krishna , the soul.
Arjuna, devido à sua qualidade nobre e divina, tem a companhia do Senhor Krishna, a alma.

When the mind becomes still, calm, and quiet, one can know God.

Quando a mente torna-se quieta, calma e tranqüila, pode-se conhecer a Deus.

There are three qualities of nature in every  human body

Existem três qualidades da natureza em todo o corpo humano

When the breath flows through any of the three mains astral nerves: ida pingala or shushumna

Quando a respiração flui através de qualquer um dos três canais, principais nervos astrais: ida ou pingala shushumna

These qualities existin the spine. Ida is idleness, pingala is causes extreme activity and agility, and shushumna  is the source from truth  and good qualities.

Estas qualidades existem na coluna vertebral. Ida é a ociosidade, pingala provoca extrema atividade e agilidade, e shushumna é a fonte da verdade e boas qualidades.

  ida is in the left side of the spine and theleft nostril.Pingala lovated in the right side of the spine ending in the right nostril. Shushumna located in the center of the spine  with equal breath in both nostrils.

ida  está no lado esquerdo da coluna vertebral e na narina esquerda. Pingalá localizada no lado direito da coluna vertebral  termina na narina direita. Sushuma localizada no centro da coluna, com respiração igual em ambas as narinas.

The Lord Krishna, the soul, dwells on the top in sixth center , in the pituitary.

O Senhor Krishna, a alma, reside no topo em sexto centro, na pituitaria.

Arjuna does not remain in the navel center, he rises up to the top and is free from all idleness.
Arjuna se não permanecer no centro do umbigo, ele sobe até o topo e é livre de toda a ociosidade.


When the sun is covered by clouds , there is darkness. To overcome the state of delusion, you must receive the grace of a realized master.
Quando o sol é coberto por nuvens, há trevas. Para superar o estado de ilusão, você deve receber a graça de um mestre realizado.

Than you can perceive that the marvelous power of God abides in the whole body.
Então você pode perceber que o poder maravilhoso de Deus permanece em todo o corpo.

Purity and eternal love are the very essence of spiritual life.
Pureza e amor eterno são a verdadeira essência  da vida espiritual.

So the art of self evolution depends upon the regulation of breath and sublimation of mind.
Assim, a arte da evolução de si mesmo  depende da regulação da respiração e sublimação da mente.

murtayah sambhavanti yãh

tãsãm brahma mahad yonir

aham bijapradah pitã

Whatever forms come from any womb, O Son of Kunti ( Arjuna), the great Brahman is their womb, and I am the father who sows the seed. (14;04)

Seja qual for a forma que vier de qualquer ventre, ó filho de Kunti (Arjuna), o grande Brahman é seu ventre, e eu sou o pai, que espalha a semente.(14:04)

Kunti means sharp intelligence and the finest conception.
Kunti significa inteligência aguçada e a  melhor concepção.

This quality, remain in the pituitary and the listen.
Esta qualidade, permanece na pituitária e no ouvir.

The Lord is the father , I am the mother, I am the breath in the nostrils of both.
O Senhor é o pai, eu sou a mãe, sou a respiração nas narinas de ambos.

I am the seed of everything. I am Brahma the Almighty creator.
Eu sou a semente de tudo. Eu sou Brahma o criador Todo-Poderoso.


My marvelous power is called mahad- brahma, which refers to the great Brahma, the prakriti in every human being.
Meu poder maravilhoso é chamado brahma mahad-, que remete para o grande Brahma, a prakriti em cada ser humano.

Perceive everything as My living presence.
Perceba tudo como Minha presença viva.

Constant merging with God in the synthesis of action,knowledge, and devotion.
Fusão constante com Deus na síntese da ação, conhecimento e devoção


Through meditation, life can be sacred, simple, beautiful, and pure.
Através da meditação, a vida pode ser sagrada, simples, bela e pura.

Chapter 13:34 Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga ;The Yoga of Knowledge of the Body Field and its Knower. ( O Yoga do conhecimento do Campo de Batalha, e seu Conhecedor.

ksetraksetrajnayor evam

antaram jnãnacaksusã

bhutaprakrtimoksam ca

ye vidur yanti te param

Those who realize with their eye of wisdom the distinction between the field, the knower of the field, and the liberation of beings from nature ( prakriti) go to supreme.(13:34)

Aqueles que percebem com seu olho da sabedoria a distinção entre o campo, o conhecedor do campo, e a libertação dos seres da natureza (prakriti) vão ao Supremo. (13:34) 

Gross body is full of delusion,illusion and error. People with a restless body and mind can go beyond restlessness and enter into imperishable soul with the help of the realized master. 

O corpo grosseiro está cheio de desilusão, ilusão e erro. As pessoas com um corpo e mente inquietos pode ir além da inquietação e entrar na alma imperecível com a ajuda do mestre realizado.

The imperishable soul in the body is kshetrajna, , fix attention in the pituitary and with the power of the guru, they can attain the supreme state.,

A alma imperecível no corpo é kshetrajna,

fixar a atenção na pituitária e com o poder do guru, eles podem atingir o estado supremo..,

Gradually , they will merge with the Almighty Father and attain the pulseless stage, samadhi, the ultimate goal of human life.

Aos poucos, eles vão fundir-se com o Pai Todo-Poderoso e atingir o estado sem pulso, samadhi, o objetivo final da vida humana.

Focusing a either of the mind-point of eyebrows and the fontanel, helps dissolve restless propensities, such as anger, ego and vanity.

Concentrando-se entre o ponto médio das sobrancelhas e a fontanela, ajuda a dissolver propensões inquietas, como a raiva, ego e vaidade.

Yoga is that process which brings the state of inner silence and tranquility

Yoga é esse processo que traz o estado de silêncio interior e tranquilidade

Yoga is complete cessation of restlessness.

Yoga é a cessação completa da inquietação.

If you live with implicit faith in the words of the Master and the scriptures, you will be liberated while abiding in the physical body (jivanmukti)

Se você vive com fé implícita nas palavras do Mestre e as escrituras, você será libertado enquanto permanente no corpo físico (Jivanmukti)

The path of knowledge leads to the goal of liberation.

O caminho do conhecimento leva à meta da libertação.

He is the sadguru who knows what is real and unreal.He is the best among the knowers of Brahman. Every place he resides in sanctified; there is no doubt about it.

Ele é o sadguru quem sabe o que é real e irreal. Ele é o melhor entre os conhecedores de Brahman. Todo lugar que ele reside foi santificado; não há nenhuma dúvida sobre isso.

om tatsaditi srimadbhagavadgitasupanisasu brahmavidyãyam yogasãstre srikrsnãrjunasamvãde ksetraksetrajnavibhãgayogo nãma trayodaso 'dhyãyah

Om. That is the Truth. Thus ends the thirteenth chapter,  "The Yoga of the Body Field and Its Knower" , in the yogic scripture of the Bhagavad Gita, the essence of the Upanishads, the scripture on absolute knowledge, a dialog between Lord Krishna and Arjuna.

Om. Essa é a verdade. Assim termina o décimo terceiro capítulo, "O Yoga do campo de corpo e seu conhecedor", na escritura yogue do Bhagavad Gita, a essência dos Upanishads, a escritura em conhecimento absoluto, um diálogo entre o Senhor Krishna e Arjuna.

Chapter 13:29 Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhaga Yoga ;The Yoga of Knowledge of the Body Field and its Knower. ( O Yoga do conhecimento do Campo de Batalha, e seu Conhecedor.

prakrtai 'vaca karmãni

kriyamãnãni sarvasah

yah pasyati tathã 'tmãnam

akartãram sa pasyati

And he who sees that all the actions are performed by the nature (prakriti) only and ( when one is above body nature) perceives that. Self not the doer, he alone truly sees. ( 13;29)

E ele que vê que todas as ações são executadas pela natureza (prakriti) somente  (quando se está acima do corpo da natureza) pode perceber isso. O Ser e não é executor, só ele realmente vê.(13:29)

Ham the body is full of maya. Only the body nature has antecedents and consequences.

Ham, o corpo está cheio de maya. Apenas o corpo natureza tem  antecedentes e consequências.

The gross body is either very active and absorbed in material work, or it is wasting time in idleness.

O corpo grosseiro ou é muito ativo e absorto no trabalho material, ou então está perdendo tempo na ociosidade.

The astral body is filled with emotion and thoughts.

O corpo astral é cheio de emoções e pensamentos.

These bodies are activated by the breath energy- the living power of God.

Esses órgãos são ativados pela energia da respiração  - o poder vivo de Deus.

Everything is the universe is Brahman.Wisdom is Brahman.

Tudo é o universo, tudo é Brahman. Sabedoria é Brahman.

"I am Brahman-Iam the imperishable soul" This is the state of liberation.

"Eu sou Brahman-Eu sou a alma imperecível. Este é o estado de liberação.

Through deep meditation, you experience complete detachment, where there is no work, no activity.

Através da meditação profunda, você experimenta total desapego, onde não há nenhum trabalho, nenhuma atividade.

omkãrãt aksarãt sarvaãh

tvetã vidyã caturdasa

mantra puja tapo dhyãnam

karmãkarma tathaiva ca

Omkara (the letter aum) is imperishable and encompasses all the fourteen vidyas ( fourteen branches of knowledge), along with the six spiritual practices of chanting, worship, penance, meditation, action, and inaction. (4)

Omkara (a letra aum) é imperescível e abrange todos as quatorze Vidyas (quatorze ramos do conhecimento), juntamente com as seis práticas espirituais de canto, adoração, penitência, meditação, ação e inação. (4)

Om is namabrahma:  the name of God ( the formless, Absolute Brahman).

Om é namabrahma: o nome de Deus (o informe, Absoluto Brahman).

Om is shadabrahma ; the manifestation of the Absolute through sound.

Om é shadabrahma; a manifestação do Absoluto através do som.

Om is nadabrahma: the cosmic vibration, which is a continuous spontaneous, uninterrupted sound experienced in deep meditation.

Om é nadabrahma: a vibração cósmica, que é um som contínuo espontâneo, ininterrupto experimentado em meditação profunda.

Lord Shiva teaches Parvati the secret spiritual wisdom of deep meditation.

Senhor Shiva Parvati ensina a sabedoria espiritual segredo da meditação profunda.

The scriptures define this kind of higter knowledge as the gateway to liberation
