Chapter 15:09 Purushottama Yoga . The Yoga of the Supreme Self. O Yoga do Ser Supremo.

srotram caksuh sparsanam ca

rasanam ghrãnam eva ca

adhisthãya manas cã ýam

visayãn upasevate

Presiding over hearing, sight, touch, taste, and smell, as well as the mind, he ( the fragment of the Lord, the indwelling Self) enjoys the objects of senses( 15:09)

Presidindo a audição, visão, tato, paladar e olfato, assim como a mente, ele (o fragmento do Senhor, o ser interior) goza dos objetos dos sentidos. ( 15:19)

If God does not breathe  the body cannot do anything.

Se Deus não respirar o corpo não pode fazer nada.

Every human body is hamsa ham ( body) and sa ( soul) together.

Cada corpo humano é  hamsa  ham (corpo) e sa (alma) juntos.

The soul in the body makes every enjoyment possible, but the soul is compassionately detached.

A alma no corpo faz com que cada apreciação seja possível, mas a alma é compassivamente desapegada.

Although God is present in every individual, only through the path of self discipline and meditation can inner Truth become manifested.

Embora Deus esteja presente em cada indivíduo, apenas através do caminho de auto-disciplina e meditação a verdade interior torna-se manifesta.

In sanscrit the body is called deha which consists of two parts de and ha; the union of "the formless" with 'form".

Em sanscrito o corpo é chamado deha, que consiste em duas partes de e ha; a união de "do sem forma" com ha  a"forma".

The body of every human being is subject to change and delusion.

O corpo de cada ser humano está sujeito a alterações e ilusões.

It is said that the human body is prey to six kinds of modifications(shadvikara): birth (jayate), existence (sthiyate) , growth (vardhate) maturity (viparinamate), decay or disease (apakshiate)and death (vinashyate).

Diz-se que o corpo humano é vítima de seis tipos de modificações (shadvikara): nascimento (jayate), existência (sthiyate), o crescimento (vardhate) maturidade (viparinamate), decadência ou doença (apakshiate) e morte (vinashyate).

The soul is ever present as prana or life energy.

A alma está sempre presente como prana ou energia vital.

Deva or God is the source of life, knowledge, and illumination.

Deva ou Deus é a fonte da vida, conhecimento e iluminação.

Through strong determination the company the sages and saints. and sadhana , every moment can be made God conscious.

Através de forte determinação a empresa os sábios e santos. e sadhana, a cada momento pode ser feita consciente de Deus.

In every work, Lord Jagannath, the soler doer, can be realized.

Em cada atividade, Senhor Jagannath, o fazedor  exclusivo, pode ser realizado.

mamai ´vã ´mso jivaloke

jivabhutah sanãtansh

manah sasthãni ´ndriyãni

prakrtisthãni karsati

The eternal soul in the body, in the worldly life, is a fragment of Myself. That alone draws to itself the five senses and the sixth sense, the mind, that exist in material nature (prakriti) (15:07)

A alma eterna no corpo, na vida mundana, é um fragmento de Mim mesmo. Isso  por si só atrai os cinco sentidos e o sexto sentido, a mente, que existe na natureza material (prakriti) ( 15:07)

God is infinite and formless.His invisible counterpart resides in every living body.

Deus é infinito e sem forma.Sua contraparte invisível reside em cada corpo vivo.

All human beings are God in human form.
Todos os seres humanos são Deus na forma humana

O Lord splendid is Your cosmic play.To realize You is beyond the comprehension of the human mind.You are the supreme being.
Oh Senhor  esplêndido é o seu jogo cósmico.Realizar Você está além da compreensão da mente .Você é o Ser Supremo.

Maya ( delusion) consist of the three qualities of nature (gunamayi)sattva, rajas and tamas.This entire creation is compose with these three qualities of nature.
Maya (ilusão) consistem nas três qualidades da natureza (gunamayi) sattva, rajas e tamas. Toda esta  criação é composta destas três qualidades da natureza.

This universe is davi (divine) because it is a creation of God.
Este universo é davi (divino), porque é uma criação de Deus.

It is extremely difficult for the seeker to overcome the play of maya.
É extremamente difícil para o  seguidor vencer o jogo de maya.

       Unswerving  attention on Him and taking refuge in Him will enable one to cross the ocean of maya (delusion)
Uma inabalável atenção Nele e se refugiar Nele permitirá a pessoa a cruzar o oceano de Maya (ilusão)

Breath is life. That breath in yogic language is called hamsa, the feet of Lord
A respiração é vida. Essa respiração em linguagem yogi é chamada hamsa, os pés de Deus..

Chapter 14 Verses: 18 Gunatraya Vibhaga Yoga : The Yoga of discrimination of the Triple Qualities of Nature; O Yoga da Discriminação das triplas Qualidades da Natureza.

urdhvam gacchanti sattvasthã

mdhye tisthani rãjasãh

jaghanyagunavrttisthã

adho gaccanti tãmasãh

 Those who abide in the quality of sattva rise upward, the rajasic remain in the middle, and tamasic established in the lowest qualities go downward. ( 14;:18)

Quem permanece na qualidade de sattva  vai para cima,  rajasic permanece no meio, e tamasic estabelecido nas mais baixas qualidades vai para baixo. (14; 18)

The human body can be divided into three parts- the upper, the middle , and lower.

O corpo humano pode ser dividido em três partes superior, meio e inferior.

The power of God is more manifest from the pituitary to the fontanel, inside the cerebral cortex.

O poder de Deus é mais evidente da da pituitária até a fontanela, no interior do córtex cerebral.

People should perceive God by keeping their concentration on the top.

As pessoas devem perceber Deus, mantendo a sua concentração no topo.

Those who are spiritual see Him in ham and sa.

Aqueles que são espirituais O vêem como ham  e sa.

Each human beeing is hamsa. Sa the formless one, abides in the ham body, compassionately detach , without Whom no one can work or evan live.

Cada ser humano é hamsa. Sa o informe, permanece no corpo todo ,  ham, compassivamente ligado, sem o qual ninguém pode trabalhar ou viver.

The sattivic (spiritual) people go to the top. At the top there is illumination, calm,and love.

As pessoas (espirituais) sattivic vai para o topo. No topo lá está a iluminação, calma, e amor.

The rajas mode , their consciousness remains in the heart and food center.Their material minds do not want to rise to the top.

O modo de rajas, a sua consciência permanece no coração e no centro da comida. Suas mentes materiais não querem subir ao topo.

Those living in tamas are on the animal level. Their minds are in in the lower propensities of life. They are lost and groping in the darkness of maya, extremely engrossed in delusion, illusion, and error.

Aqueles que vivem em tamas estão no nível animal. Suas mentes estão em nas propensões inferiores da vida. Eles estão perdidos e tateando  na escuridão de  maya, extremamente envolvidos no delírio, ilusão, e erro.

The yogis tell us there are five types of mind:

mudah , dull mind, kshipta, restless mind, vikshipta agitated mind, ekagra, concentrated or foucused mind, niruddha thoroughly controlled or yogic mind..

Os yogis dizem-nos há cinco tipos de mente:

mudah, mente embotada, kshipta, mente inquieta,  vikshipta mente agitada , Ekagra, mente concentrada ou mente focada , Niruddha mente completamente controlada ou mente yogi.

Human birth is a great privilege.

A vida humana é um grande privilégio

The mind is an instrument, wich guides our ego, emotions, intellect, and direction in we which proced in life.
