Chapter 15:17 Purushottama Yoga . The Yoga of the Supreme Self. O Yoga do Ser Supremo.

uttamah purusas tv anyah

paramãtme 'ty udãhrtah

yo lokatrayam ãvisya

bibharty avyaya isvarah

But the supreme person, who is different than these, is also called the supreme Self, Who, entering into the three worlds as the eternal Lords supports them.( 15:17)

Mas a pessoa suprema, que é diferente destes, também é chamada Ser Supremo,  quem entrando nos três mundos , dos  Senhores eternos apoia-os. (15:17)

kshara (perishable) , akshara (imperishable) and Purushottama ( the supreme Almight Father) are symbolically represented by three letters.

kshara ( perescível), akshara (imperescível) e Purushottama ( O supremo Pai Onipotente) são simbolicamente representados pelas tres letras.

The supreme Almight Father is "A", the imperishable akshara brahma is "U" , the perishable  gross body is "M" . These three taken together are AUM.

O supremo Pai Onipotente é "A" o imperescível akhara brahma é "U" , o corpo grosseiro perescível é "M". Estes três juntos são AUM.

If  we meditate deeply like Arjuna, who saw the all-pervading form of Lord Krishna, we will experience real love for God and we can progress spiritually.

Se nós meditarmos profundamente como Arjuna, que vê a toda permeável forma do Senhor Krishna, nós vamos experimentar o real amor por Deus e poderemos progredir espiritualmente.

"See the clear distinction between pure mind and purusha."

"Veja a clara distinção entre uma mente pura e purusha."

"Slowly through your prayer, meditation, and self-inquiry, you will gain the knowledge of purusha, the indwelling spirit."

" lentamente através da sua prece, meditação e auto análise você vai adquirir o conhecimento de purusha , o espírito interior.

Shri Jagannath is Purushottama, attributeless and formless, unmanifested Brahman.

Shri Jagannath é Purushottama , sem atributos ou forma, Brahman imanifesto .

By the sword of detachment- with the weapon of companionship with the Divine or Lord Jagannath- we have to destroy all of our evil propenseties, and bestial, demoniac qualities.

Pela espada do desprendimento - com a arma do companheirismo com o Divino ou o Senhor  Jagannath- temos que destruir todas as nossas más inclinações, depravações e qualidades demoníacas.

The nature of the Soul  is existence,consciousness and bliss.

A natureza da Alma é a existência, consciência e bem-aventurança.

Chapter 15:16 Purushottama Yoga . The Yoga of the Supreme Self. O Yoga do Ser Supremo.

dvãv imau purusau loke

ksaras cã 'ksara eva ca

ksarah sarvãni bhutãni

kutastho 'ksara ucyate

There are two purushas in this world, the perishable and the imperishable. All beings are perishable, but kutastha ( the unchanging) is the imperishable. ( 15:16)

Existem dois Purushas neste mundo, o perecível e o imperecível. Todos os seres são perecíveis, mas kutastha (o imutável) é o imperecível. (15:16)

Whatever is visible is perishable.

Tudo o que é visível é perescível.

Behind all these perishable objects and beings is the imperishable power of God.

Além de todos objetos e seres perescíveis está a imperescível força de Deus.

This applies to every human being.

Isto se aplica a todos os seres humanos.

The ten stages of human life, are called kshara sharira. This is ham, kshetra, the perishable body.

Os dez estágios da vida humana são chamados kshara sharira. Isto é ham, ksetra, o corpo perescível.

The gross body of human beings is perishable,the body nature,it causes delusion illusion and error.

O corpo humano grosseiro é perescível, o corpo natural, ele causa desilusão, ilusão e erro.

akshara sharira , the imperishable one, also resides in every human being

akshara sharira, o Ser  imperescível, também reside em cada ser humano.

The imperishable being is sa, kshetrajna-the director,conductor, evolver, and protector of the body.

O ser imperescível é sa, kshetrajna, o diretor, o condutor o envolventee protetor do corpo.

The imperishable being kutastha is located behind the midpoint of eyebrows.

O ser imperescível kutastha é localizado acima do ponto médio das sombrancelhas.

Compare the body to wood, and realize that the body is like a inverted tree with the roots at the top.

Compare o corpo a um tronco, e perceba que o corpo é uma árvore invertida com as raízes no topo.

The physical body will wear out and one day will perish

O corpo humano irá se desgastar e um dia perecerá.

The company is important to awareness, There are three types of company according to the three qualities of people: spiritual company ( sattvic), materialistic company ( rajasic) and iddle and evil company ( tamasic).

A companhia é importante para a consciência. Existem tres tipos de companhia de acordo com as tres qualidades de pessoas: companhia espiritual( sattvic) companhia materialista ( rajasic) e desocupada e má ( tamasic)

For soul perception, you first need extreme desire for inner transformation, and second good company.

Para a percepção alma, você precisa primeiro desejo extremo de transformação interior, e segundo boa companhia.

Taking refuge in Shri Jagannath will make life intoxicated with love for Lord Jagannath, He is seen in everything.

Refugiando-se em Shri Jagannath vai tornar a vida intoxicada com amor por Lord Jagannath, Ele é visto em tudo.

Love all as the power of God. Serve all as the power of God. See all as children of God. This is the path of goodness.

Ame a todos como o poder de Deus. Sirva a todos como o poder de Deus. Veja a todos como filhos de Deus. Este é o caminho do bem.

C 12 : V 03-04 Bhakti Yoga , The Yoga of Divine Love, Yoga do Amor Divino

ye tv aksaram anirdesyam

avyktam paryupãsate

sarvatragam acintyam ca

kutastham acalam dhruvam

sanniamye 'ndriyagrãmam

survatra samabuddhayah

te prãpnuvanti mãm eva

sarvabhutahite ratãh

But those who worship the imperishable, the indefinable, the unmanifest, the omnipresent, the unthinkable, the unchanging, the immovable, the eternal. ( 12: 3)

Mas aqueles que adoram o imperecível, o indefinível, o não-manifesto, o onipresente, o impensável, o imutável, o imóvel, o eterno. ( 12:3)

by controlling all the senses, maintaining even-mindedness towards everything, and rejoicing in the welfare of creatures, will surely attain Me.( 12;4)

controlando todos os sentidos, mantendo a mente equilibrada em relação a tudo, e regozijando-se no bem-estar das criaturas, certamente irá atingir a Mim.( 12: 4)

The formless God is hiding in every human body form, but He is also unmanifest.
 Deus sem forma está  oculto em todas as formas do corpo humano, mas Ele  também é não-manifesto.

From the ajna chakra downward He is called saguna ( with attributes) vyakta (manifested), kshara (changing)
A partir do chakra ajna para baixo Ele é chamado saguna (com atributos) vyakta (manifesto), kshara (mutante)

From the ajna upward, He is called nirguna(without attributes) , ayakta (unmanifest) akshara (imperishable) kutastha(immutable) and achala (immovable) and so on.
Desde o ajna para cima, Ele é chamado nirguna (sem atributos), Ayakta (imanifesto) akshara Kutastha (imperecível) (imutável) e achala (imóveis) e assim por diante.

Those who worship vyakta ( kshara)   perceive the power of God in daily life, in all activities, in every breath.
Aqueles que adoram em  vyakta (kshara) percebem o poder de Deus na vida diária, em todas as atividades, em cada respiração.

The restless world is below the eyebrows . Akshara, the imperishable Brahman , is above the eyebrows , it is Purushottama, the supreme  indwelling spirit. The vital breath is sthira-prana , imperishable  , above eyebrows.
O mundo inquieto está abaixo das sobrancelhas. Akshara, o imperecível Brahman, está acima das sobrancelhas, é Purushottama, o espírito interno supremo. O sopro vital é sthira-prana, imperecível, acima das sobrancelhas .

No one can express God through words. God is transcendental. and omnipresente . The Lord is bindu, as small as an atom, and sindhu even greater than the ocean, he is all-pervading.
Ninguém pode expressar Deus através de palavras. Deus é transcendental. e omnipresente. O Senhor é o bindu, tão pequeno quanto um átomo, e Sindhu ainda maior do que o oceano, ele é todo-penetrante.

For to realize God, Self-realization :  you must introvert all the sense organs.
Sammabuddhi  dissolution of the mind and intelect, achieved by making the breath extremely feeble and tranquil.
Para realizar Deus, Auto-realização: você deve introverter todos os órgãos dos sentidos.
Sammabuddhi dissolução da mente e do intelecto, esta alcançada fazendo a respiração extremamente débil e tranquila.

Formless God is beyond the perceptions of the senses. Those who fix their attention in the ajna chackra, the center of soul consciousness  and above  , control the senses is free from the play of the mind, intellect and ego, body and world.
Deus sem forma está além da percepção dos sentidos. Aqueles que fixam sua atenção no chackra ajna, o centro da consciência da alma e acima, controlam  os sentidos estão livres do jogo da mente, inteligência e ego, do corpo e do mundo.

They surely attain Me, they become realized
Eles certamente atingem a Mim e, tornam-se realizados

C:10 :33 Vibhuti Yoga The Yoga of Divine Glories O Yoga das Glórias Divinas

aksarãnãm akãro 'smi

dvandvah sãmãsikasya ca

aham evã 'ksayah kãlo

dhãtã 'ham visvatomukhah

Of the letters , I am A. Of the compound words, I am the dual. I alone am infinite time. I am the sustainer of everything, having My face on all sides. (33)

Das letras, sou A. Das palavras compostas, sou  as duas. Eu sozinho sou o tempo infinito. Eu sou o sustentador de tudo, tenho a minha face voltada para todos os lados. ( 33)

In sanscrit , there are fifty letters  starting with A. In Sanskrit these fifty letters are associated with fifity types of air or breath ( panchasa vayu) .

Em sânscrito,  existem  cinquenta  letras  que começam com A. Em sansscrito destes cinqüenta letras estão associados aos 50  tipos  de ar ou respiração (panchasa vayu).

real knowledge of akshara ( the imperishable one) as well as knowledge of the letters and alphabets are possible only through the realized master. 

conhecimento real da akshara (o imperecível) bem como o conhecimento das letras e alfabetos só são possíveis através do mestre realizado.

A means  avyakta Brahma, the unmanifest Brahaman. 

O  significado de avyakta Brahma, o imanifesto Brahaman.

In sanscrit grammar , you can form compound words six ways. One way is dvandva , which means dual. This duality is the union of two aspects of one thing. this is also the principle of yoga.

Na gramática sânscrita, você pode formar palavras compostas de seis maneiras. Uma maneira é dvandva, o que significa dupla. Essa dualidade é a união de dois  aspectos de uma coisa. este é também o princípio  de yoga.

Dvandvah  is the self and supreme Self, uniting to become one.

Dvandvah é o  ser  e  o Ser supremo, unindo-se para se tornar um.

The Lord is the  achieving unity from all duality.

O Senhor é o alcançar da unidade  em toda a dualidade.

Vayu means the breath of life  - a lifespan. Breath is also the strength of the person, sustaining life in the body.

Vayu significa o sopro da vida - um  tempo de vida. Respiração é também a força da pessoa, a sustentação da vida no corpo.

God is omnipresent, You cannot hide anything from God. He is inside and outside.

To perceive this constantly and continuously is meditattion

Deus é onipresente, você não pode esconder nada de Deus. Ele está dentro e fora de você .
 Perceber  constantemente e continuamente isso  é meditação

Meditation  is the perception of the omnipresent consciousness. 

 Meditação  é a percepção da consciência onipresente.

Bhagavad Gita 8: 11 Akshara-Brahma Yoga; The yoga of the Imperihable Brahman , O Yoga do Imperecível Brahman

yad aksaram vedavido vadanti

visanti yad yatayo vitarãgãh

yad icchanto bramacaryam caranti

tat te padam sangrahena pravaksye

That supreme state ( God) that the knowers of the Vedas ( the realized ones) call the imperishable ( akshara or aum) , which people of inner detachment, who desire God and who are free from passion, enter to lead lives of self control, that I shall present to you in brief. (08: 11)

Esse estado supremo (Deus) que os conhecedores dos Vedas (os realizados) chamam o imperecível (akshara ou aum), que as pessoas de desprendimento interior, que  desejam Deus e que estão livres da paixão, entram para levar uma vida de auto-controle, esta  que apresentarei a você em breve. (08:11)

 

 

The vedas are the scripture of divine wisdom.

Os Vedas são as escrituras da sabedoria divina.

The person a wisdom state is called vedavid, is a state achieved by deep meditation and emancipation.

A pessoa num estado sabedoria é chamado vedavid, é um estado alcançado pela meditação profunda e emancipação.

In this state God is perceived as akshara , the imperishable.

Neste estado Deus é percebido como akshara, o imperecível.

Akshara , the imperishable  is aum the eternal divine sound.

Akshara, o imperecível  é o  aum   eterno e divino som .

aum is the one akshara Brahman

aum é  aquele akshara Brahman



Kutashtha is the immutable one.Realized people perceive God as the imperishable, absolute one.kutastha is the ajna center, the six center, the pituitary

Kutashtha é o  ser  imutável .  Pessoas realizadas percebem Deus como aquele que é , imperecível e absoluto. Kutastha é o ajna chakra , o  sexto centro , a pituitarya.

To perceive this divine state, the path of inner detachement must be followed, thoroughly controlling the mind and senses.

Para perceber este estado divino, o caminho do desapego interior deve ser seguido,  o completo controle da mente e dos sentidos.

Bramacharya means celibacy , the real meaning is to roam in Brahman, to live in continuous God consciousness.

Bramacharya significa celibato, however o real significado é a vaguear em Brahman,  viver na consciência de Deus contínuamente.

This is the activity of the yogis, who follow the path of meditation and perceive constant God awareness and unity with Him.

Esta é a atividade dos yogis, que seguem o caminho da meditação e percebem constantemente  a consciência  de Deus e a unidade com Ele.

Bhagavad Gita 2: 39-41 Samkya Yoga ,The Yoga of Inner Awareness ( Yoga da Consciência Interior )

C2:39esã te 'bhihitã samkhye
buddhir yoge tv imãm srnu
buddhyã yukto yayã pãrta
karmabandaham prahãsyasi

O Partha ( Arjuna)! This attitude has been presented to you from the point os view of Samkhya ( philosophy). Now hear the same from the point of view of self-discipline ( practice). Equipped with this state of mind, you will be able to free yourself completely from the shackles of karma ( (02;39)

O Partha (Arjuna)! Esta atitude foi-lhe apresentada a partir do ponto de vista do sistema Samkhya (filosofia). Agora ouça o mesmo do ponto de vista da auto-disciplina (prática). Equipado com este estado de espírito, você será capaz de libertar-se completamente dos grilhões do karma (02; 39)

ne 'hã 'bhikramanaso 'sti

pratyavãyo na vidyate

svalpam apy asya dharmasya

trãyate mahato bhayati

In the beginning of this selfless effort, no effort is wasted, nor is there any adverse result. A little progress on this path can save you from perilous danger. (02:40)

No início deste esforço abnegado, nenhum esforço é desperdiçado, nem existe qualquer resultado adverso. Um pequeno progresso neste caminho pode te salvar de grandes perigos . (02:40)

vyavasãyãtmika buddhir
eke 'ha kurunandana
bahushãkhã hy anantãs ca
buddhayo 'vyavasãynãm

Those who stick to this path with determination have but one aspiration, O dearest child of the Kurus( Arjuna); however, the minds of those who are fickle go in various directions( 02:41) 

Aqueles que mantêm este caminho com determinação, mas têm uma aspiração, ó filho mais querido dos Kurus (Arjuna); no entanto, as mentes daqueles que são inconstantes vão em várias direções (02:41)

A riqueza da vida espiritual está nas coisas mais simples , a vida é tecida lentamente no processo vida-morte da existência material. Assim como uma pequena alteração no DNA de uma célula pode causar dano ou talento,  na vida espiritual ocorre o mesmo. Nós nada  podemos  fazer a não ser abraçar este caminho e acolher os resultados de nossos atos passados, eles trazem consequências e estas emergem independentemente da nossa vontade.  Nós podemos estar atentos a cada detalhe, cada respiração para realizar ações respeitando nosso corpo e mente como moradas de Deus e assim arespeitar a existência de cada ser vivo. Nós podemos também aprender a realizar ações divinas, em sintonia com Deus:  KriyaYoga.

The richness of spiritual life is the simplest things, life is slowly woven in life-death process of material existence. As a small change in the DNA of a cell can cause damage or talent, in the spiritual life is the same. We can do nothing but to embrace this path and accept the results of our past actions, they bring these consequences and regardless of our will emerge. We can be attentive to every detail, every breath to take actions respecting our body and mind as abodes of God and thus In respect to the existence of every living being. We can also learn to perform divine actions in line with God: KriyaYoga.

Não sou eu quem respira, mas Deus respira através deste corpo.

I do not breathe, this is God breathes through my body

 Não são os  olhos e mente que vêem , mas são os olhos de Deus que me permitem ver a Luz , a beleza da criação,  reconhecer o ser Supremo e Sublime em tudo e em  todos.

They are not my eyes and my mind seeing to, but they are the eyes of God that I may see the Light, the beauty of creation, recognize the Supreme and Sublime be in everything and everyone.

Não são nossas línguas e  mentes que apreciam o sabor dos alimentos, mas é a energia divina em nós que nos permite ser testemunhas deste milagre que é a nutrição.

It is not our tongue and our mind appreciating to  the taste of food, but it is the divine energy in us that allows we to witness this miracle that is nutrition.

Não são nossas narinas e  mentes que diferenciam os odores mas é Deus que permite que eu perceba as diferenças para respeita-las e amá-las igualmente.

They are not our nostrils and our mind  differentiating to odors but it is God who allows me to perceive the differences to respect them and love them equally.

Não são nossas as sensações , percepções e mente que criam a realidade, Deus nos permite experimentar em nosso corpo, que é a sua morada a sua energia vibrando seja para a criação, manutenção ou destruição da matéria.

They are not  our feelings , perceptions and mind createing the reality, God allows us to experience in our body, which is its address your energy is vibrating to the creation, maintenance or destruction of matter.

Não são nossos ouvidos e mentes que escutam,  mas Deus que permite que seu som divino se reproduza e expanda através deste corpo que é sua morada. E assim nos permite ser testemunhas da sua sinfonia cósmica e dos ruídos causados por suas criaturas sedentas de amor e paz.

They are not our ears and  our mind listening to, but is God allows His sound to reproduce and expand through this body that is His home. So let us be a witness of His cosmic symphony and the noise caused by His creatures hungry for love and peace

Ah como é bom poder acordar a cada dia e sentir que estamos juntos sempre e que com a Graça do meu Gurudev toda esta realidade divina é desvendada no meu interior  : vida é pura expressão do Amor em múltiplas formas.

Oh how t good is to wake up every day and feel that we are always together and that with the Grace of my Gurudev all this divine reality is unveiled within me: Life is a pure expression of love in many forms.

The Mundaka Upanishad

This Upanishad divides all knowledge into two categories. The knowledge that leads to Self Realization is called Para Vidya (Great or Divine Knowledge) and everything else is called Apara Vidya or Knowledge of Material world (wordly knowledge).

 Shaunaka approaches sage Angiras and asks "Revered Sir, by knowing what everything will be known ?" Angiras replies that Two knowledges should be known, one isPara Vidya and other is Apara Vidya. Knowledge of worldly things is Apara Vidya and that by whichEternal Truth or Akshara is obtained is Para Vidya. Though Apara Vidya enables one to earn ones bread and helps one to understand each object of universe separately, it does not show the Ultimate Reality (Akshara) or Root Cause of this universe. 

While Para vidya doesn't teach objects of this universe but enables one to understand underlying fabric of it. Like by knowing gold all the gold ornaments could be known, by knowing Akshara, its another manifestation, the universe is known. This Upanishad expounds the greatness of Para Vidya.

Esta Upanishad divide todo o conhecimento em duas categorias. Do conhecimento que leva à Auto-Realização chamada Para Vidya (grande ou Conhecimento Divino) e todo o resto é chamado Apara Vidya ou conhecimento do mundo material ( conhecimento mundano). Shaunaka abordou o sábio Angiras : "Reverendo Senhor, como tudo poderá ser conhecido? " Angiras responde que dois saberes devem ser conhecidos, é um Para Vidya e outro é Apara Vidya. 

Conhecimento das coisas mundanas é Apara Vidya e aquele pelo qual Eterna Verdade ou Akshara é obtido é o Para Vidya.Embora Apara Vidya capacite a pessoa a ganhar o pão de cada dia e os ajude a compreender cada objeto do universo separado, ele não mostra a Suprema Realidade (Akshara ) ou a Raiz Causal deste universo.

 Assim sendo Para Vidya não revela a verdade dos objetos desse universo, mas permite entender o tecido subjacente a ele.Assim conhecendo o ouro todos os ornamentos de ouro poderiam ser conhecidos, conhecendo Akshara, a outra manifestação, o universo é conhecido . Esta Upanishad expõe a grandeza do Pará Vidya.

The Mundaka Upanishad ,  Kanda 2  Mantra 13:

tasmai sa vidvān upasannāya samyak praśānta-cittāya śamānvitāya,

 yenāksaram purusam veda satyam provāca tām tattvato brahma-vidyam.

To him who has duly approached (the Guru Preceptor), who is of tranquil mind, whose mind is completely controlled, the wise Preceptor duly imparts the knowledge of Truth, the Brahma-Vidya, through which one is enabled to know the Imperishable Being.

Para ele, que foi devidamente abordado (o Guru Preceptor), que tem a mente tranquila, cuja mente está completamente controlada, o sábio preceptor devidamente transmite o conhecimento da Verdade, o Brahma-Vidya, através do qual se está habilitado a conhecer o Ser Imperecível.
